Dr. Matthew Banks, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has committed himself to providing the most comprehensive approach to health. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, and then medical school at Touro University Nevada, Dr. Banks finished his residency in Neurology and fellowship in Neuromuscular medicine at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. As a neurologist, Dr. Banks is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM). He is highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. His expertise extends to various neurological conditions, such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and peripheral neuropathy.

He utilizes advanced diagnostic tools, including neuroimaging, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies to accurately diagnose and monitor his patients’ conditions. With a patient-centered approach, he takes the time to understand their concerns, answer their questions, and involve them in the decision-making process.
