Jessica Wood Fleishman, LCSW completed her Master’s degree in clinical social work in 2011. She began working at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, where she spent 13 years helping people navigate life while they were experiencing psychiatric crises in the emergency department and acute psychiatric units.   

Jessica believes that people were built to be resilient, but that doesn’t mean we should have to navigate life’s twists and turns all on our own. She strives to provide a non-judgmental, safe place to share and process emotions, vent frustrations, and develop the tools it takes to tackle life’s individual struggles.  She believes that the most important part of the therapeutic process is a supportive and collaborative relationship with her clients, where they leave each session feeling understood and encouraged.

Jessica is married, with 2 children and 2 rambunctious Australian Shepherds. In her spare time she loves spending time at the beach with her family and friends.
